Landlords in Ryedale are being urged to attend an upcoming Landlords Forum to find out.
Ryedale District Council, with the assistance of the National Landlords Association, is hosting the event on Wednesday 4 November 2015 from 4 pm onwards at Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton, YO17 7HH
The event will feature a marketplace style area available from 4 pm, where attendees can browse stalls from the National Landlords Association, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, local lettings agencies and solicitors.
From 5 pm, lettings agents and landlords who own properties in Ryedale are then invited to watch a series of presentations on information such as the Deregulation Act 2015, Universal Credit and Fire Safety.
Free smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are on offer for all those in attendance and landlords will also receive a free specialist information pack.
The event is free of charge and light refreshments will be provided.
