AWARD-WINNING NEW CITROËN BERLINGO VAN RANGE EXTENDED WITH VERSATILE CREW VAN VERSIONS

Citroën UK has announced the introduction of no less than three New Berlingo Crew Vans into the multi-award winning New Berlingo Van range. All of the Crew Vans will benefit from the added length of the ‘XL’ silhouette and will be based on the well-appointed ‘Enterprise’ specification. The New Berlingo Crew Vans combine seating for up to five occupants – who all travel in ‘car-like’ comfort – with a folding second row of seats and a through-loading moveable bulkhead for maximum versatility. Like all New Berlingo Vans, the three new Crew Van versions will benefit from the latest engine technologies and equipment when they enter production in November 2019.

Citroën UK has expanded its multi-award winning New Berlingo Van range with the addition of three new Crew Van versions. Available with a choice of three powertrains, the new Crew Vans will offer a folding second row of seats, which in addition to row one, allow up to five occupants to travel in total comfort. The New Berlingo Crew Vans also offer a truly unrivalled layout, based on the long wheelbase ‘XL’ variant. Complete with a split/folding seat in row two and an innovative sliding mesh bulkhead with through-loading capability, the well-executed design allows the user to prioritise load carrying or passenger space, giving the best of both worlds.

With the rear seats in use, the New Berlingo Crew Vans will provide a maximum load floor length of 1,450mm and a load volume of 1.8m³ – enough to comfortably accommodate a standard Euro Pallet. With the rear seats folded, the load floor length extends to 2,000mm with a 3.5m³ load volume. Alternatively, with the rear and front passenger seats all folded, and the through-loading hatch open, up to 3,050mm of load floor length is available, whilst load volume is extended to 4.0m³. New Berlingo Crew Van will offer a maximum gross payload of 850kg*.

Based on the popular ‘Enterprise’ specification, all three New Berlingo Crew Vans include a wealth of standard ‘car-like’ features that provide optimal comfort to both driver and all passengers. These include air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic electronic parking brake and electric folding door mirrors. In-car entertainment has not been overlooked either, a standard fit DAB radio with steering wheel mounted controls, USB port and an 8-inch colour touchscreen offering Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto.

New Berlingo Crew Van will be available with three power options. Citroen’s multi-award winning three-cylinder 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine – 1.2L PureTech 110 S&S 6-speed manual – providing an option for lower mileage drivers. Diesel power comes from Citroën’s four-cylinder 1.5-litre diesel engine, in the form of the BlueHDi 100 S&S manual or the BlueHDi 130 S&S with an EAT8 (8-speed) automatic transmission.
