COUPLES wanting to share their wedding day with some of the biggest names in the music industry can do just that, thanks to a North East music festival.
Hardwick Festival is set to return to Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall over the weekend of 15-17 August.
And while the headline acts have not yet been revealed, organisers have promised a bumper line-up for 2025.
And that’s good news for three couples, with the opportunity to turn each day of the event into their very own Wed Fest.
Would-be newly weds can now book to get married over the weekend, with only one wedding on offer each day.
The unique package – which costs just £15,000 – is for 60 guests, includes the ceremony in the hotel’s Floral Chapel, followed by a welcome drink and a festival barbeque feast with dessert.
A private bar, VIP personalised wristbands which allows the couple and their guests access to the VIP areas of the site, VIP parking passes for up to 20 vehicles and a private double decker bus with prime views of the stage are also included.
The bus has its own private garden area and will be dressed with bunting and personalised signage, with each guest also receiving a street food token which can be spent at selected vendors at the site.
Along with a personalised festival gift for the new couple, they will also get the use of one of Hardwick’s glamping pods for the wedding night – and will even receive a pair of tickets for Hardwick Festival to mark their first anniversary.
Last year the wedding slots were quickly snapped up and owner of Hardwick Hall, John Adamson is advising anyone interested to act fast.
“We haven’t yet announced our line up for 2025 but we know there will a huge amount of interest once it is revealed,” he said.
“To get married in such a unique way and to be able to say that you had one of the biggest stars in the music industry as your wedding band is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“We would advise anyone interested or who wants to find out more to get in touch as soon as possible – they certainly won’t be disappointed.”
