Cleveland Bridge UK is strengthening the role its workforce plays in the future growth and development of the company with the launch of the business improvement initiative, Engage.
Created to support greater inclusivity, communication and engagement across the company, the new Engage Team provides an opportunity for every employee to contribute to key areas of business improvement and corporate social responsibility.
The Engage Team broadens the horizons of Cleveland Bridge’s longstanding Employee Forum and includes project teams focused on activities including Wellbeing, Innovation, and Sports, Social & Charity.
Leading the Engage Team are a group of Ambassadors, selected from across Cleveland Bridge UK’s workforce of more than 250 people, who will champion the objectives of the initiative and help empower their colleagues to contribute to its success.
Engage Ambassadors will work with their colleagues to develop new ideas and activities to support workforce wellbeing and enhance the working environment.
To provide its employees with the tools they need to successfully contribute to the Engage Team, Cleveland Bridge UK has invested significantly in a programme of bespoke training for each of its ambassadors.
Diane Boon, Commercial Operations Director of Cleveland Bridge UK, said: “We have a highly committed and talented workforce and this new initiative rewards their dedication by expanding their ability to contribute to the success of the business and its positive impact on the community.
“The Engage Team will be at the core of our sustainability programmes and we have ensured that every member of staff can play an active role through bespoke training that will also improve their skill sets and enhance their career development with the business.”
