Darlington Building Society’s ten branches will once again be acting as collection points for TFM’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal.
The branches in Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Guisborough, Redcar, Bishop Auckland, Barnard Castle, Northallerton, Cockerton and Yarm will be accepting new and unwrapped gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0-18 years.
The annual appeal aims to ensure that up to 40,000 disadvantaged children across the North East have at least one gift to open on Christmas morning.
Colin Fyfe, chief executive of Darlington Building Society, said: “This is an initiative that the Society has supported for a number of years and one which we are always happy to get involved with.
“Darlington Building Society is fortunate in having a network of convenient high street branches and as always, we are pleased to act as collection points for this wonderful appeal”
Kara Hatton, Events & Projects Executive at TFM said: “It’s brilliant to have the support of Darlington Building Society again this year. In the past their customers have been so generous with their donations, it really makes a huge difference and means that we are a step closer to being able to help the thousands of children who need it this Christmas.”
