Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Darlington office tour is part of Business Week

Prospective tenants and interested local business owners can take a virtual and a hard hat tour to find out more about the new £8.5m office development in the centre of Darlington. The Feethams House office tour will take place on Thursday 10 October and is part of Darlington Business Week which runs from Monday 7-11 October. The week offers local businesses the chance to take part in a range of free networking, information and workshop events in venues across the borough.

Located in the Feethams area of Darlington, the Grade A office building is being developed by Darlington Borough Council, the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The tour will be a unique opportunity to see the building mid-construction and a chance to discuss requirements with the letting agents. There will also be the opportunity to take a selfie from the top of the building and enjoy a complimentary packed lunch.

Offering circa 30,000ft² of office space across five storeys, Feethams House, scheduled for completion in early 2020, will be a welcome addition to the town centre and will potentially create around 300 new jobs in the professional services, digital and creative fields.     .

Councillor Heather Scott, Leader of Darlington Borough Council, will make a presentation and also take part in the tour. She said:

“This is an ideal chance to find out more about this Grade A office development. It’s in the heart of town yet only minutes from the main East Coast mainline taking full advantage of Darlington’s excellent transport links and town centre shops and facilities.”

Anyone wishing to know more about Feethams House and to take part in the tour can email jane.sutcliffe3@darlington.gov.uk before 1 October. Details of other events and booking information is at:  www.investindarlington.co.uk/events
