Foods and drinks to beat the summer heat

The weather is hot, humid, and heavy! The heat of summer days is why we strive to be as fresh as cucumbers to feel good. There are several ways to stay fresh in the summer. These are just a few effective tips to cool off in the summer, from wearing lighter clothes to swimming in a pool. But another easy way to cool off is by taking ‘body-cooling’ foods and drinks.

Nothing beats the cold beer.

Isn’t cold beer everyone’s favourite method to cool off in the summer? Relaxing in the backyard after work with a cold beer in one hand and maybe a barbecue fork in the other, what a great feeling. And since people are more open to experimentation in the summer, why not swap your old basic beer with a cool, funky beer with an amazingly refreshing taste and a unique formula that will make you dream of it at night? We love beer, and we have tried so many brands. We loved some, others not so much, but lately we have been obsessed with a brand called Innis and Gunn, and we think you should try it asap.

They are a craft beer company that gives a new look to beer. They have a variety of unusual flavours, such as Caribbean Rum Cask and Irish Whiskey Cast, these sound amazing and mind-blowing. That is why we encourage you to try them and taste the magic.

Cold and fresh watermelon

If you lead a healthy lifestyle and don’t want to spoil your diet by eating ice cream or drinking beer, why not go for a delicious watermelon you have kept in the fridge a few hours before eating. It can be a healthy substitute for ice cream or an ice lolly.

With or without the seeds, watermelon is fresh, juicy, and cooling. As a healthy summer food, watermelon helps lower blood pressure, regulates digestion, gives glowing skin and most importantly, keeps us hydrated. The body is well hydrated, especially in hot weather, and protects us from heart attacks and other heat-related illnesses. Also, the body being hydrated makes us feel fresh for a longer time.

Looking for a delicious way to eat watermelon? Why not try this Greek recipe: Slice watermelon, add mint and feta cheese, and drizzle with balsamic dressing for a nice, refreshing snack.
