An immensely stylish Range Rover V8 Vogue once owned by the iconic singer and composer George Michael is set to headline Hampson’s final sale for 2025 – branded the ‘Big End of Year Auction’. The Range Rover will play a starring role at the sale, which takes place at Bolesworth Castle on Sunday, 23 November.
Offered at No Reserve, the Range Rover gives collectors and fans the remarkable opportunity to own a genuine piece of both motoring and music history. Presented in original Oslo Blue with Charcoal leather interior, this third-generation Range Rover Vogue remains in largely unmodified condition and comes complete with a history file which includes a V5 registration document in the George Michael’s birth name, Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou.
The car retains its original registration SB52 XZP and is offered alongside a folder of images capturing the vehicle in the context of the artist’s everyday use. Under the bonnet resides the BMW-derived 4.4-litre V8 engine, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, delivering refined performance and prestige befitting its owner. Inside, the cabin features soft leather upholstery, walnut veneer trim, Harman Kardon audio and dual-zone climate control, in keeping with the Vogue specification of its era.
In tribute to the late singer’s legacy of generosity, Hampson Auctions will donate a portion of the sale proceeds to one of George Michael’s preferred charities.
A significant number of lots in the sale are offered at No Reserve, including an extensively-specified 2018 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG Edition 1 which has been further enhanced with the distinctive Brabus exterior styling package, including carbon-fibre accents, Brabus badging, and upgraded gloss black alloy wheels with red highlights. The interior is equally striking, finished in quilted black and red Nappa leather with contrasting stitching and carbon-fibre trim throughout.
