KITCHEN skills and healthy eating are the subject of a new course for men of a certain age in Middlesbrough.
The six-week Men’s Healthy Cooking Course is organised by ‘Sporting Chance,’ a Volunteering Matters project for men aged 50 and over.
It’s a chance to make some tasty, nutritious food in great company – and of course enjoy a bite to eat when the work’s done.
No experience is required – those wishing to find out more can even just pop along and watch.
The six-week course – funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund – runs every Monday from October 5 to November 16. (No session on Monday, October 19.)
The course takes place at the Community Hub at Newport Settlement, St Paul’s Road, Middlesbrough TS1 5NQ
Places are limited – for further information and to book a place call Newport Settlement on 01642 802892.
