Date: – Thursday 25th February
Time: – 5-7pm

Businesses in and around Stokesley are invited to attend the town’s free networking event next week when more special guests will attend.
Following local MP, Rishi Sunak, and Welcome to Yorkshire, Thirsty Thursday will be joined by representatives from Stokesley School who will be talking about opportunities for local businesses to work with the school.
The event will also provide another opportunity for businesses to find out more details about the Tour de Yorkshire which passes through Stokesley on Sunday May 1st. Plans are now well underway for Stokesley TourFest which will see a day long festival style celebration in the town involving many local businesses and featuring live music, family events and various stalls.
Local businesses are invited to attend Thirsty Thursday, held at The Mill on Springfield, free of charge.
Thirsty Thursday, established by local businesswomen Anna Addison and Sue Thompson, celebrated its first anniversary last November. Hundreds of businesses have taken part in the last year and each event regularly attracts over 40 different organisations.
Anna said: “Throughout this year we want to give businesses a chance to find out more about how they can get involved with other local organisations. There are so many new opportunities in Stokesley and it’s important that we share these. Stokesley School has such a lot happening and is going from strength to strength so we have invited them along to tell us all about their plans and how local businesses might be able to benefit.”
