Mincoffs Solicitors Bolsters Commercial and Employment Offering with New Hires

Leading commercial law firm, Mincoffs Solicitors, is strengthening its offering to commercial and employment clients with the addition of two new hires.

The firm, which has forged a strong presence in the region’s technology scene over the past few years, welcomes newly qualified solicitor Martha Craven to Employment and paralegal Alex Young to the Commercial team. The new appointments will reinforce an already strong commercial offering, including commercial services, employment, corporate, litigation and commercial property to clients in the tech sector and the wider business community.

Martha has relocated back to the region following her completion of a training contract at a leading commercial firm in Reading and which included seats in Employment, Corporate and Commercial. During her training, Martha assisted with several projects for a FTSE 100 company including a large-scale TUPE exercise involving approximately 800 employees. She also has experience of working with SMEs and start-ups on both employment and commercial matters.

Alex will be assisting the Commercial team with a wide variety of contracts and agreements, as well as undertaking a variety of Intellectual Property work.

Mincoffs is already a key player in the North East technology community and takes part in a number of tech initiatives in the region including leading the Dynamo professional services cluster; acting as legal partner for the If We Can You Can challenge; and sponsoring the Thinking Digital Start-Up Competition, as well as holding the regular and increasingly popular Tech Drinks networking events to bring the community together.
