North East Companies can see Apprenticeship Options

Screen Shot 2015-06-23 at 14.20.15A LEADING NORTH EAST recruitment agency is joining forces with one of the UK’s top training organisations to showcase how businesses can benefit from apprenticeships.

North Tyneside-based Labour4U has organised a half day event at The Point, Sunderland on August 11 – giving both companies and students the opportunity to find out about apprenticeships across a range of sectors.

L4U is running the day in conjunction with Talent Training (UK) LLP, one of the country’s leading training and workforce development companies which has worked with global brands including Santander, Stobart Group, Harrods and Komatsu.

The event – which runs from noon until 5pm – will be a drop in for business people to discover apprenticeship options across a range of sectors including business administration, hospitality, travel and tourism, customer service, health and social care and logisitics.

Companies will be able to find out about the benefits to their organisations by taking on an apprentice, with the added value of the support of two leaders in the recruitment and training field.

“This is a great opportunity for both students and companies to find out more about going down the apprenticeship route,” said Jon Bell, Director of Labour4U.

“We recognise through our day to day recruitment work the opportunities that are available in a range of careers and we are hoping both businesses and young people will come along and find out how we can help them.”

Jill Field, Director of Talent Training, said she was “delighted” to be working with L4U.

“Despite being a relatively young company, Labour4U have made a real impact in the market,” she said.

“We are delighted to be partnering with them for this important event, along with bringing our skill and expertise to the day and offering young people a great start to an exciting career with progressive employers.”

Young people aged between 16 – 24 are invited along on the day between 2pm to 6pm with business people able to drop in between noon and 1.30pm

Refreshments will be provided during the day. For further information contact Anssaf Cook, Apprentices Divisional Manager at L4U on 07496 437938 or email Anssaf@apprenticeships4-u.com.
