Ambitious plans to expand the Parkway Shopping Centre are moving forward with the announcement of a public consultation event.
The new owners of the Parkway Shopping Centre in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough (a joint venture between Ellandi LLP and Bridges Ventures) is currently in the process of developing plans to extend and they are keen to hear the public’s views.
Zoe France, Centre Manager said the proposed expansion comes in response to local research, which revealed there was scope for retail expansion in the area.
The consultation event which is open to the public will be held at the Parkway Shopping Centre in Unit 12, formerly Cooper & Barr Opticians on Friday 22 April 2016 from12pm – 7pm and Saturday 23 April 2016 from 10am – 3pm.
Representatives from the Parkway Shopping Centre and the Project Team will be on hand to introduce the plans and answer any questions in relation to the proposed development.
Members of the public who are not able to attend the consultation will be able to access information about the proposed development and complete an online questionnaire at www.parkwayshopping.co.uk from 25 April.
