Psyche has invested more than £15,000 in new technology designed to further enhance its customer experience.

New, superfast and modern touch screen till systems have been installed throughout the 35,000 square foot department store as well as in its second store in the Cleveland Centre, Psyche2.

The new tills will provide staff with instant stock verification, large images of the stock displayed on screen and customer order history. The new till system will also enable Psyche to launch its first Loyalty Scheme this month (October 2016).

Psyche has already invested in a state of the art app, which has many personalised features including a scan and shop service, live updates and specific promotions available only on the app.

Last year the business launched an award-winning, cutting edge website which is also responsive on mobiles. Its online sales are growing rapidly and customers are logging on from across the world.

Steve Cochrane, owner of Psyche, said: “It is vital that we keep upgrading and updating our technology to ensure we are offering exceptional customer service, whether in store or online.

“The website is by far the biggest thing we have ever done in Ecommerce. The new platform boasts the most cutting edge functionality and will take our online business onto a world class level.

“The store also has an enhanced click and collect service for customers ordering from the website with a turn-around time of an hour for those who want to browse at home but have their purchase ready to collect very quickly.”

Psyche has also invested in a new employee engagement forum HIVE, which allows employees to make suggestions for further improving the customer experience and discuss any issues they might have.

Psyche is now a worldwide fashion phenomenon. Internationally recognised, Psyche has attracted the attention of many fashionistas, not just in the UK, but in far flung places such as Tokyo, Singapore and New York, as well as many parts of Europe.

Recently Psyche.co.uk was voted the 34th Best Website in the WORLD by The Times, one of Vogue Magazine’s Top UK Stores, GQ’s Best UK fashion store, and Drapers UK retailer of the year.
