The household name will be taking centre stage on Sunday 28 August from 4pm, where resident house DJs from around the UK and Europe are also set to perform.
The day prior to Pete Tong’s arrival will be the Festival of Colour, a Holi colour paint party, traditionally a Hindu celebration, where people throw paint powder at each other.
This is taking place from 4pm on Saturday 27 August on Majuba Beach.
The paint party festival was originally scheduled for the beginning of the month but was postponed due to high winds.
Councillor Carl Quartermain, cabinet member for jobs, skills and leisure at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, said:
“These events are going to be fantastic, and with music legend Pete Tong joining us, it’s going to be a weekend you will not want to miss.
“This is a great example of the kind of events we can host on our amazing beach, and we would encourage as many people as possible to buy tickets for a truly memorable weekend.”
