A new digital profile has transformed the outlook for a North East based business.
ScreenServices, based in Pelaw, Tyne and Wear, is Europe’s leading manufacturer of branding and safety critical decals. It supplies globally to major OEMs in the automotive, construction and agricultural sectors.
After celebrating its 50th birthday, ScreenServices decided to upgrade its digital presence to showcase its forward-thinking business strategy.
Business support agency RTC North based in Sunderland provided the support ScreenServices needed to make its vision reality. Through the Designing Better Business programme, ScreenServices was able to bring in a consultant, part funded through the programme.
RTC’s Designing Better Business– launched in 2016 – provides support for north east businesses looking to continue to innovate and design better world leading product. It is part funded by European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
ScreenServices selected Megomotion, a 3D and 2D video specialist agency based in Gateshead’s Northern Design Centre, to make the changes it needed.
Megomotion also looked at its Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy, and along with a full review and implementation, it also provided ongoing SEO support to ensure the new website was easy to find by potential customers.
The new website and company video have helped raise the profile of ScreenServices, particularly to the overseas markets and the company has gone from strength to strength.
Denise Bainbridge, ScreenServices’ business and customer relationship manager said: “Since the launch of our new website and video we’ve had a number of enquiries from new customers and some really positive feedback from existing customers who may have not had the opportunity to visit our premises and see our capabilities first hand.
“We’ve recently invested over £700k in new machinery and equipment and have ambitious plans to grow the business over the next few years.”
