Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

STAR-STUDDED MUSICAL WHODUNNIT AT THE HIPPODROME

It’s murder at Darlington Hippodrome this week – quite literally.

Jason Manford heads a stellar cast in the Kander and Ebb penned murder mystery musical Curtains which runs until Saturday 16 November.

In Curtains, Manford takes on the role of Lieutenant Frank Cioffi of the Boston Police Department, called in to solve the case of a murdered leading lady on opening night. Along the way Cioffi manages to fall in love and salvage the flop of a musical turning it into a production worthy of a long Broadway run.

The cast of Curtains is a who’s who of West End performers including Carley Stenson, Rebecca Lock, Samuel Holmes, Alan Burkitt and Adam Rhys-Charles.

Darlington reviewers have hailed Curtains as ‘an absolute delight of a show… good old fashioned entertainment at its best’ and say it’s ‘crammed full of satire with the witty one-liners and perfect comedic timing coming thick and fast’.

Curtains runs at Darlington Hippodrome until Saturday 16 November with matinee performances on Thursday and Saturday. Call the box office on 01325 405405 or visit www.darlingtonhippodrome.co.uk
