STOCKTON SHOPPING CENTRES LAUNCH 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN

STOCKTON SHOPPING CENTRES LAUNCH 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN

Castlegate and Wellington Square shopping centres have joined together to reward the community and fill the town with festive cheer.

To celebrate Christmas this year, the Stockton shopping centres are launching a campaign called 12 days of Christmas, which aims to reward the residents of Stockton.   The campaign is a way of saying thank you for the wonderful community spirit that has been shown throughout this difficult year.

The shopping centres have partnered with Middlesborough and Stockton Mind to help them raise awareness and raise funds for their worthy cause.  Mental Health is more important than ever during the coronavirus pandemic. Alongside self-isolation, working from home and the inability to see loved ones, managing emotional needs can be extremely challenging.

The 12 days of Christmas campaign will see the shopping centres run three separate competitions, providing lots of chances to win prizes.

  • Virtually Meet Santa –  Giving 12 children the chance to win a Facetime call with Santa!

  • My True Love Sent to Me – Giving people the chance to nominate friends and family that they feel deserve a treat, with 12 festive hampers up for grabs!

  • With Love from Us –  There will be 12 presents hidden around the shopping centres in December for shoppers to find!

Chantal Taylor, Marketing Coordinator, said “We have learnt that amid the fear, there is also community, support and hope in Stockton.  We want to reward that community spirit this Christmas and ensure that the community is at the heart of the Christmas campaigns. We hope that our 12 days of Christmas campaign does just that.”

The initiative is also providing 12 local businesses the chance to come into the shopping centres and use space within the mall to promote their business totally free of charge.

“It is really important to support local small businesses this Christmas and we hope that, by providing them with space in the centre, it will enable them to get noticed by more people.” added Chantal Taylor.

As well as the 12 hampers that are been given to members of the public, Castlegate and Wellington Square are also donating 12 hampers to Middlesborough and Stockton Mind to give to those who are going to be spending Christmas alone this year. They will also be  making a donation of £250 to Middlesborough and Stockton Mind to help them provide support to those in need.
