Hays Travel, the UK’s largest independent travel agent, recently saved thousands of jobs at Thomas Cook and has now given employees a further boost by launching a tailored Hays Travel Employee Rewards service which is accessible on staff mobiles.
Reward Me Now is the UK’s first free employee benefits scheme, offering businesses a free branded app to secure their staff exclusive discounts at over 100 top UK retailers.
The Reward Me Now partnership with Hays Travel launched in January 2020 and over half (54 per cent) of the 5,400 Hays Travel staff signed up in the first week. The platform offers up to 18 per cent savings across a wide range of high street brands with Currys PC World, Virgin Experience Days and Debenhams being the most popular brands of the Hays Travel workforce so far, with one top user already saving over £90 in the first month.
Reward Me Now created a bespoke Hays Travel Rewards platform, which was designed in the travel firm’s own corporate branding.
The Hays partnership follows a series of high-profile contract wins for Reward Me Now, which also provides employee perks apps for Durham-based insurance firm Honcho and Sunderland’s Business Improvement District (BID).
Hays Travel, which recently saved all 555 Thomas Cook stores, protecting the jobs of more than 2,000 employees, has hailed the partnership a huge success.

The new app allows Hays to reward and recognise employees for their hard work without any expense to the company as the scheme has no set-up fee or monthly charge to the employer.
Employees also receive discounts at over 130 high street stores and online brands, including Asda, Pizza Express, Asos and Argos, with regular users already on track to save over £500 a year.
“Hays Travel Rewards went live in January and we have already had an incredible uptake, with over half of the staff enrolling already, creating a real buzz around the workplace,” said Helen.
