Citizen Advice Hambleton, Richmondshire and Selby and District is looking for more volunteers to become members of the Adviceline Team in the Northallerton and Richmond offices.
Rachel Hunter, Advice Coordinator said that due to the success of the Adviceline project, demand for the service from clients across the region has risen, and more volunteers are needed to take up the role of telephone assessors to meet the demand.
“This is a great opportunity for people to join a team of great volunteers, learn new skills, increase employability skills and do something for the local community,” she said. “The training is quick and easy, with lots of support, and volunteers can be helping clients within a couple of weeks.”
