Big Black Door, the Yorkshire-based brand positioning and marketing agency, is on track for a 200% increase in turnover in its first three years, after securing several high-profile clients and a major award win.
Founded in 2022 by Gareth Turner, former head of marketing at Weetabix, the agency specialises in working in partnership with some of the UK’s most exciting new food and drink brands. The agency has worked with brands including Fentimans, Spoon Cereals, Hall & Woodhouse, The Wine Society and Merry Hill.
Big Black Door has also this month won Fastest Financial Growth at the 2025 Business Consultancy Awards, an achievement that reflects the agency’s position as one of the most successful consultancies operating in the country.
Commenting on their fast growth and recent award win, Gareth Turner said: “The last two years have been fantastic for us, having won 25 new clients and hired 4 new team members. 2025 is set to be even better, with turnover expected to reach a record high and plans in motion to further boost our headcount and increase our office space.
“The fact that we have started the year with a national award win at the Business Consultancy Awards is a testament to the hard work of the Big Black Door team, and our commitment to securing the very best results for our clients.
“Our experience developing marketing strategies for some of the biggest brands around makes us unique – we’ve been in our clients’ shoes, building positioning and marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, distribution, and ultimately product sales.
“Clients value the fact that we understand the nuances of their role, and that we simplify their complex challenges to help them to grow their business.”
