CIM has today released details of the first category in their 2017 Northern Awards, which will be held in Manchester on Thursday 09 November.
The CIM Northern Awards, now in its fourth year and sponsored by the Marketing Trust, celebrates the insight, creativity and success of the Northern marketing industry, the outstanding campaigns and the talent from across the North of England, including the Isle of Man. There are 17 award categories, 13 of which are open to entries, and the evening event will once again be hosted by TV’s Andy Crane.
Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “We are thrilled to have Claire Gavin, Director of Private Brands and Innovation at Pets at Home, to judge our B2C Campaign category.” Claire has a proven track record of category creation and reinvention from 20 years in retail spanning her work in Pets at Home and previously in the grocery multiple Safeway, the High-Street Retailer BHS and the clothing and home retailer Matalan.
Claire will be looking for the best business to consumer communications campaign, that has delivered Return On Investment and demonstrated strategic and tactical thinking. This category was won last year by Leeds-based ilk agency for their ‘Launching EU beers for the undecided masses’ campaign on behalf of their client, Little Valley Brewery. The B2C category is kindly sponsored by the CIM Benevolent Fund, which offers assistance to CIM members and their families.
