SUPERHEROES, Daleks and a giant animatronic dragon are heading to Stockton this weekend (10 June) as one of the most exciting events on the sci-fi calendar returns.
The Kapow specialist market and family fun day is back for its fourth year in Stockton town centre, bringing together specialist traders selling toys, memorabilia and collectables covering all things sci-fi.
Visitors can get up close and personal with a host of famous characters, with superheroes like Captain America and Wonder Woman mixing it up with Stormtroopers, Daleks, wizards and a 3.5metre animatronic dragon.
There will also be the chance to meet former Dr Who star Katy Manning, enjoy a Hotter than Potter magic show as well as take part in a selection of workshops and activities.
Kapow was originally created by the owners of Silver Street gift shop Who Ray! and has grown bigger and better every year, to become one of the town’s most popular events.
The market and workshops will be staged in a marquee at High Street, while other activities including interviews and special appearances will take place at Wellington Square.
The specialist market is being run by Stockton Borough Council with all the additional elements on the day organised by Stockton BID.
