The North East’s leading supplier of digital visualisation tools has expanded its business and strengthened its team with two new appointments as part of the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Claire Stockton and Andy Wilkin join Middlesbrough based Animmersion who will both play a pivotal role in delivering the company’s innovative services – from animation, interactive displays, holograms, right through to virtual, mixed and augmented reality.
The appointments come on the back of the company almost doubling its turnover in the last year and forms part of the business’ plans for growth to meet the demands for more immersive technologies. Operating across a number of sectors, including energy, process industries, engineering, retail and automotive, the company has ambitious plans to expand further into these markets.
Claire steps into the role of Project Manager with the business and will be responsible for scheduling and client management ensuring expectations are met at every level, whilst also directing project teams. With a masters in multimedia application, Claire is well experienced and very knowledgeable in 3D immersive technologies.
With over 17 years’ experience in film, TV and commercials, specialising in character and technical animation, Andy has been appointed as a 3D Animator. He has previously worked for a number of leading animation specialists including Glassworks, The Mill and Studio Aka where he has worked on projects for high end clients including the likes of Wrigleys and Audi.

Most recently Animmersion launched the world’s largest mixed reality display at an exclusive two-day event in London. Since the launch, the company has increased its order book and has generated a lot of interest from a series of international high-profile retailers and buyers within the automotive and tourism sectors.
At the launch itself the company introduced its new branding which is sophisticated and professional, representative of the company’s offering.
