The all-new PEUGEOT 508 has seen off serious competition from the Ford Mondeo, Škoda Superb, Toyota Camry and Volkswagen Passat to take the title of Best Upper-Medium Car at the 2019 Business Car awards.
The judges commented: “Model by model, PEUGEOT seems to be transforming its brand image and the 508 is no exception. Available as a sleek ‘fastback’ or elegant SW estate, the 508 looks desirable and feels upmarket. It ticks all the important boxes for a driver needing this type of car.”
The all-new PEUGEOT 508 includes both Fastback and SW models, providing customers with a choice of body styles, while sharing the same stand-out design. The comprehensive standard equipment list includes an extensive list of safety features and Connected 3D Navigation, in addition to the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® with configurable head-up digital instrument panel. The all-new PEUGEOT 508 is also equipped with a whole host of technology features, including a smartphone charging plate, standard on GT Line and above, as well as front and rear parking sensors with a 180º colour reversing camera, standard from Allure upwards. The range topping GT model offers a FOCAL® premium HIFI speaker system as well as Drive Assist Pack Plus, featuring Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go function and lane positioning assist.
The all-new PEUGEOT 508 is now available with plug-in-hybrid powertrains across both the Fastback and SW versions. These models offer low BIK tax ratings for business drivers, as well as enhanced tax allowances for corporate buyers, and eligibility for home and workplace charging grants* among other benefits. By 2023, PEUGEOT will offer an electrified version of every model in their current line-up, ensuring that customers need not compromise in their choice of silhouette when purchasing an electric or Plug-In Hybrid vehicle.
