Award Winning Durham Director Announces Two New Horror Films

Award-Winning Durham Horror Film Director, Dean Midas has announced two new short films, including the return of his infamous character The Rag Dolly.

It has already been an amazing 2023 for Dean, he is the current North East Film-Maker of the Year and BBC Upload’s Film Master.

All of Dean’s short horror films are all shot in HD on mobile phones. They have been shown around the world and won numerous awards, including best villain (The Rag Dolly) at an American festival.

Dean and his film team only expected around 4,000 views in total for his horror franchise, remarkable, they have just hit 260,000 and growing.

Dean also has plans for an interactive game, and he is in talks for his characters to appear at a local Halloween scare walk, later in the year.

Dean said, “This year has already got off to an amazing start and with two new short films on the way, it is going to be a busy 2023”
