THE buildings of Teesside and the North East are the subject of a new exhibition at the Heritage Gallery.
Personal Dwellings is the first show in Cleveland Art Society’s 2016 programme and opens at the Cargo Fleet venue on Thursday, May 5.
The long-awaited themed show concentrates on the characteristics of our North East buildings, with emphasis on those found in and around Teesside.
Buildings other than our familiar industrial structures are looked at, and the relationship we have with those we work in, visit for leisure and live in is explored in an inspiring and eclectic exhibition by some of the region’s leading visual artists.
Parking and entry are free and refreshments will be available from the IronCo Coffee House situated in the gallery.
Personal Dwellings opens with a private view on Thursday, May 5 from 4pm to 6pm, and runs until Friday, June 24.
