A North East management consultancy firm has joined forces with MMB to launch a peer to peer board for women professionals.
Teesside-based Focus on Success, whose overall approach is to improve businesses in the region by placing non-executive directors (NEDs) into SMEs, is working alongside the modern working mothers’ magazine to help launch the MMB Board later this month.
Made up of proven female business professionals, the aim of the new board is to provide a confidential and supporting environment to discuss sensitive issues away from the workplace and gain a different perspective on business challenges and opportunities. Members will meet monthly to exchange business expertise and experiences in pursuit of their business goals, also benefitting from exclusive events and one to one support.
Established in late 2015, MMB supports working mothers throughout their careers, collaborating with bloggers to provide financial and lifestyle advice, news and interviews to inspirational working women with children.
Founding director, Abbie Coleman, said: “Last year was a great year for us. Following the launch of the MMB magazine in 2015, we established the MMB Forum which provides networking opportunities for senior women.
“The collaboration with Focus on Success for the MMB Board was a natural extension of our services to support savvy, intelligent working mothers and we are very excited about the new venture.”
