Connection Retail, part of the CreateCity Group, which includes Franks the Flooring Store, has been honoured at the North East Business Awards, after picking up two accolades.
The Shildon-based company, which operates four websites specialising in flooring, won the Let’s Grow award and the Digital and Social Media award at the ceremony, which took place at Hardwick Hall Hotel, in Sedgefield.
The Let’s Grow award recognises a company’s rapid growth over the course of the year, as well as its business plan for the following year, while the Digital and Social Media award is awarded to companies which use digital techniques and web technology to enhance their business.
Dan Foskett, managing director of Connection Retail, said: “The Company was only established three years ago, so it is a great feeling to have been recognised at such a prestigious awards ceremony. We are always looking at ways to develop our business and have implemented new techniques, including social media, and our staff have developed and driven this aspect, which has contributed to our continued growth.
“I am excited by what the future holds for the company and hopefully we will be celebrating even more award wins in the future.”
