A TWO-DAY course on cancer prevention and early detection is being held at North Ormesby Community Hub.
The sessions are being held at the Derwent Street centre on Thursdays May 12 and 19 from 9.30am-3.30pm and are free to anyone living or working in Middlesbrough.
The course is accredited and suitable to anyone working in social care, health, pharmacies or any member of the public with an interest in the topic.
It will focus on early warning signs, how cancers can be prevented and screening programmes.
