Marinma Dorado has been appointed as an agent for Datum360 – one of the UK’s leading engineering information management company – where she will be responsible for securing and managing asset intensive process and energy sector accounts.
Based in Madrid, she brings with her over 18 years of experience in business development within the oil and gas engineering software sector working across the globe; including work in North America and Mexico. Marinma has worked for some major players in the industry, including the likes of Edinburgh Petroleum Services where she acted as Global Account Manager for BP and Shell, as well as holding senior positions at Invensys Operations Management.
Most recently, Marinma founded and managed her own consultancy firm – The Big Crew Change – based in Madrid and Houston. She has worked closely with her clients driving transformational change across all organisational levels and in turn significantly increasing sales.
Speaking about her new role, Marinma said: “Having been in contact with Datum360 over the past few years, I am delighted to now be working for them. I have always admired the company’s philosophy and firmly believe their innovative disruptive technologies are by far the most superior offering available on the market.
“The company has a real determination to deliver lasting and workable engineering information solutions to businesses. I have witnessed on so many occasions the struggles engineers face as a result of limited and inaccurate data. They simply cannot do their job properly. For me Datum360’s robust data management solutions are well known and trusted to provide accurate, trustworthy and real-time data as such completely eliminating this problem.”
With a wealth of experience, Marinma is quick to point out the significant shift in client requirements to adopt a more cloud based approach to data technology.
“Datum360 has already proved its worth in the oil and gas sector working on major projects for leading clients with solutions that are transferrable to any asset intensive project. I believe the energy sector in Spain – and where I already have several existing contacts – will be very impressed with Datum360’s offering and its ability to ultimately save them time and money.”
Having worked for four of the major owner operators, Datum360 has already made a mark in the industry for delivering robust engineering solutions that deliver accurate and reliable results and which has led to its clients reporting massive savings in both time and money on asset intensive projects.
Headquartered in Teesside, Datum360 has additional offices situated all over the globe including Aberdeen, London, Kuala Lumpur and Houston. The organisation has an impressive client portfolio including BP, Chevron, Total, Maersk Oil and Engie (formerly known as GDF Suez).
