Explore the tracks and signs left by the creatures of Deepdale Woods with the Heart of Teesdale Landscape Partnership! This free family friendly guided walk will take place at 1.30pm on Sunday 24th October in Deepdale Woods, Startforth.
The walk will be led by Bruce Ferguson from Wild North Discovery and all ages are welcome! The session will cover basic tracking skills and give insight into what might be found within this habitat. The walk forms part of the Heart of Teesdale’s Landscape Discovery project, which aims to reconnect local communities with their landscape and heritage through training and workshops.
This event is free of charge but places are limited so booking is essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure you bring waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear. All equipment is provided.
