The Guild of Motoring Writers has revealed the three finalists for 2025 in each of its 14 prestigious annual awards categories.
The winners will be announced on Thursday 4th December during the Guild’s black-tie dinner, held at its traditional home of the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, London, with those successful receiving their trophies and cash prizes. The event always features leading figures in automotive journalism and the industry amongst its attendees.
Also presented on the night will be the annual Awards to the Driver of the Year, Rider of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Motorsport, the GOMW Diversity Award, The Guild of Motoring Writers’ Special Commendation sponsored by Kia, the Pemberton Trophy and the President’s Trophy.

The top Award for members on the night will be the Sue Baker Journalist of the Year sponsored by loop. Named in memory of former Guild Chair Sue Baker and supported by specialist automotive PR and communications agency loop, the recipient of this award is selected from the winners of the other awards.
