Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

SNACK manufacturer It’s All Good has expanded for the second time in less than two years, with new premises.

After substantial growth as recently as 2017, the maker of Manomosa tortilla chips has moved into a third unit at Dukesway Central, Team Valley.

It’s All Good has taken an 18,239 sq ft manufacturing space with offices provided by UK Land Estates, next to its existing buildings on the Dukesway Central site.

Michael Weatherhead, Finance Director at It’s All Good, explained: “The business continues to see significant year on year growth in existing, as well as new product categories. To support these increased volumes, we needed additional manufacturing space and have been delighted by the additional site that UK Land Estates has provided.”

The firm already employs more than 200 staff and now expects to recruit further.

Keith Taylor, managing director at UK Land Estates, said: “We’re excited to see It’s All Good – a long term tenant of UK Land Estates – continue its growth story with us at Team Valley.

“Having come to us in 2012 we’ve seen the business expand significantly, taking further properties from us to support that expansion.

“UK Land Estates specialises in supporting tenants in exactly this way – finding solutions for growth or downsizing to suit business needs and objectives.

“It’s All Good is just one of a number of firms we’ve worked with on a long term basis.”

The news of It’s All Good’s growth follows a survey of UK Land Estates tenants that showed nearly 30 per cent intended to grow turnover by between £100,000 to £1m in 2019.

Nearly 23 per cent intended to grow turnover by up to £100,000.

Overall more than 120 jobs are expected to be created across the North East by UK Land Estates tenants – the majority at businesses in Team Valley.

And 20 per cent expected to make investments of more than £250,000 in new plant and equipment during the year.
