HARTLEPOOL care home residents have been celebrating Wear It Pink Day, a national campaign to support those with breast cancer.
Queens Meadow Care Home, on Stockton Road, saw staff, residents and relatives all donning pink to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity.
Julie Armstrong, manager of Queens Meadow Care Home, said: “Breast Cancer Now is a great charity and we’re proud to support their work with Wear It Pink Day.
“The residents have really enjoyed it and we’ve raised £50 so far – with donations still coming in.”
