For the Ancient Egyptians self-care was a pillar in their daily routines, as it was considered an act of holiness and self-love that helped boost self-esteem and -confidence. For this reason, Hayaty has placed promoting self-love and self-esteem at the core of its philosophy.
‘Hayaty’ means ‘my life’ in Egyptian, and the brand was born out of founder, Randa Zaid’s own personal struggles with self-image. Taking inspiration from her Egyptian roots, Randa developed Hayaty as a natural and holistic way to help us focus on self-care rather than society’s accepted notions of beauty. Hayaty looks to support us all to care for ourselves and love who we are.
Using medicinal botanicals like Black Seed (so beloved of the Ancient Egyptians they called it the ‘blessed seed’) and a combination of plant-based ingredients each formulation follows ancient recipes that took an holistic approach to beauty and wellbeing.
