With spring in full bloom, local housebuilder David Wilson Homes has been helping Green Lane CE Primary School in Barnard Castle create their own flower garden.
- The year one class at Green Lane C E Primary School received their very own plant pots from the housebuilder and were asked to decorate them in their very own special patterns for spring
- The team from the new Five Acres development then helped the children plant pansy seeds into their plant pots
- Creating their very own flower garden with their plant pots, the class learnt about the process of how a flower goes from seed to full bloom and what wildlife their flowers will attract throughout the year
