Loyalty scheme launches at a leading Newcastle bar

ONE of Newcastle’s most popular bar restaurants is giving regular customers the chance to enjoy free drinks with the launch of a new loyalty card.

Colonel Porter’s Tavern, Botanical Garden and Rhum Bar at Milburn House, Dean Street, is launching a new loyalty card scheme for drinkers, where regular customers can receive rewards the more times they visit.

Customers will receive a stamp every time they buy a drink from the bar, and these can be collected and exchanged for various free drinks.

The loyalty cards will also be valid at Colonel Porters’ pop up bar, which is heading to The British Masters at Close House, Northumberland from 28 September to 1 October.

The cards will be handed out during The British Masters event and can then also be used in the city centre bar on all drinks purchases.

“We are very excited to be launching our loyalty card,” said sales manager Chrissie Gladstone. “Our customers are very valuable to us and we wanted to do something that would reward those who visit us regularly.

“The card can be used with every visit to the bar to purchase drinks, and the offers are all printed on there so customers can see what they are working towards.

“We are confident it will prove to be very popular and we’re looking forward to rewarding new and old customers alike.”

The venue, named after Newcastle Brown Ale creator Colonel J Porter, opened its doors in June and has quickly become one of the most popular bars in the city centre, thanks to its unique décor and quirky food and drink.
