Young people (aged 11-18 years) in Darlington are being urged to vote on which issues are most important to them. Darlington’s Member of Youth Parliament, Danny Brown is spearheading a campaign to get young people in Darlington to have their voice heard in a national vote.
Young people will be given the choice of 10 pressing issues, which were debated at a recent National meeting, and asked to choose the one which they feel is most important to them. The votes will then be counted and the top 5 will be forwarded to the House of Commons for debate.
This year the aim is to get 1 million young people nationwide to speak out and say what matters to them on different issues… more in attached word document.
