Villagers living in Hutton Rudby, near Stokesley who are looking to either rent rather than buy a property or who are interested in shared ownership are being invited to attend an open day next month.
Sixteen new homes are being built off Garbutts Lane by ESH properties consisting of two bungalows and 14 two and three bedroomed houses which will be owned and managed by Broadacres Housing Association.
Interested residents who want to find out more about the properties and how to apply for one should pop along to the Cricket Club which is directly opposite the new development on Saturday 5 March between 10am and 2 pm.
Broadacres Housing Officers and members of the Choice Based Lettings Team, will be on hand to answer questions, and discuss the allocations process. Light refreshments will be available.
The proposed scheme is part of the District Council’s commitment to provide local homes for local people to allow them to remain living and working in the area they were raised.
