JD TRAINING Solutions, a company offering expert training services, is looking to the future after opening their new premises on Silver Street in Stockton.
The company employs 25 people and aims to equip people with practical skills through bespoke training and development from highly trained professionals at their Apex House base.
Among the training services on offer are health and safety courses, first aid, fire safety, dementia awareness and risk assessment.
Councillor Bob Cook, Leader of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, said: “I’m really pleased to see JD Training Solutions open their doors on Silver Street. I think this is another vote of confidence in what we’re trying to achieve in Stockton with a varied offer from a range of businesses as part of a vibrant town centre.
“These businesses are all bringing in their own footfall and it’s particularly pleasing that JD Training’s new base will add something different to the town’s emerging Cultural Quarter alongside the expanded Georgian Theatre and great range of independent bars and eateries.
“I’ve no doubt that they’ll enjoy plenty of success and help a lot of the Borough’s residents to learn a whole host of new skills. It’s also great to see so many of their staff exploring in and around the High Street, shopping and eating local.”
Annette Heath, Managing Director of JD Training Solutions, said: “We are ambitious and want to keep growing and that is what has led to us to these bigger premises on Silver Street, so we can continue to develop the business.
“It’s a great location and I feel we are really lucky to be here. There always seems to be events taking place on the High Street, not forgetting the daily appearance of the Stockton Flyer which we love, and there are so many lovely shops around the area.”
