The pub group behind The Botanist Newcastle is celebrating receiving two new awards from the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 and The Growing Business Awards, created by Real Business.
The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 recognised The New World Trading Company (NWTC) as one of the top 32 companies in the UK for its successful financial growth. The accolade was given after the judges were impressed by the company’s togetherness and positive spirit at each of its sites.
The group has also been acknowledged as ‘mid-market company of the year’ at The Growing Business Awards. The judges noted NWTC’s overwhelming accomplishments over the past three years, which led to the company being applauded as a flourishing medium-sized enterprise.
The judges congratulated NWTC and commented: “This company’s commitment to its people, its vision and its success in a highly competitive industry, set it apart from the others.”
NWTC now operates 16 pubs nationally under five sub brands: The Botanist, The Oast House, The Smugglers Cove, The Trading House and The Club House, covering key destinations alongside Newcastle, such as London, Manchester, and suburban sites, Farnham and Marlow.
Chris Hill, CEO at The New World Trading Company believes NWTC’s talented management team and its distinctive customer proposition is at the core of the brand’s success and is what makes the group so special.
Chris said: “We’ve really had a fantastic year as a company and it’s down to the teams at each location. Visit any of the sites and a customer will experience the same high standard but unique service that is integral to building The New World Trading Company. I’m so proud of the brand and the talented staff that all work incredibly hard to make it as successful as it is. It really is a team effort.”
