Aviva Premiership rugby union side Newcastle Falcons have announced leading sports nutrition brand Nutrition X will become the club’s official nutrition partner for the next two seasons.
The partnership will see the Gloucestershire-based brand supply the club products to meet all of the nutritional needs of its squad of players, including current internationals Evan Olmstead (Canada), Vereniki Goneva (Fiji), Jon Welsh (Scotland), Nili Latu and Sonatane Takulua (both Tonga).
Joining a stable of partners that include Castleford Tigers , Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Widnes Vikings rugby league, the new agreement will see the Falcons supplied with products that are batch tested in the Laboratory of Government Chemist’s (LGC) internationally recognised anti-doping laboratory.
Regarded to be one of the most specific sports nutrition ranges in the market place, thanks to the vast experience and knowledge of the company’s team of nutritionists, Nutrition X products are certified on the Informed-Sport programme which means they are extensively tested for substances listed on the World Anti-doping Agency (WADA) list of banned substances to ensure compliance.
