A Skoda dealership in Newcastle has been acknowledged by the brand as its Used Car Retailer of the Year at a prestigious awards ceremony in London.
The Lookers dealership took away the prize at the Skoda Retailer of the Year Awards 2018, which took place at Tobacco Dock, London.
The award is a huge accomplishment for the dealership, which has risen from 7th place last year to be named the top used Skoda retailer in the UK.
The site also made history by becoming the first winner of the Connectivity prize, which is awarded to the dealership with the biggest improvement in registering customers to the Connect service.
As well as helping to synchronise a host of mobile communication functions, Skoda Connect also provides insights into a vehicle’s technical condition, feeding information directly back to the dealership and alerting them to any issues.
It’s already been a year to remember for the Newcastle dealership, which was shortlisted in February in the Best Used Car Dealer category of the 2019 AM Awards.
