Newcastle’s Bonbar brings Sunday Brunch to the City

Bonbar Newcastle - North East ConnectedA DAY party like no other is set to shake up the North East party scene this spring as Bonbar premiers its first brunch club.

The Belaire Brunch – Day Soirée invites guests to enjoy an afternoon of fine dining, drinking and decadence this May Bank Holiday on Sunday 01 May 2016 from 2pm to 8pm.

With inspiration taken from brunch capitals including Dubai, Paris and London, the exclusive event which is hosted by The Black Bottle Boys and sponsored by Luc Belaire, offers party-goers a true brunch experience in Newcastle city centre.

Guests can take advantage of dedicated table service, serving Bonbar’s take on brunch classics including hot and sour pickled king prawns, lime leaf chicken skewers, seared steak and grilled Indonesian coconut chicken.

Luc Belaire Brut will be flowing throughout the afternoon as well as cocktail and bottle packages which are available, including Belaire and Crystal Head Vodka. Bumbu Rum will also be exclusively launching on the day with Bonbar.

The venue’s outdoor terrace and bar area will also be open following its relaunch this spring.

An afternoon of entertainment will see a number of acts take to the decks including the Black Bottle Boys DJs, DJ Prospect, DJ Martin 2 Smoove, DJ Andy P and DG G2. Guests can also enjoy performances from MC XO Man, the UK’s number one club drummer SCOTT and SHISHA. Performances will also take place at the outdoor terrace and bar area.

Emily Berry, sales and marketing executive for Bonbar and The Assembly Rooms said: “We are always looking for ideas to offer something a little different to our customers and are so pleased to be able to bring this unique event to Newcastle with the launch of our brunch club.

“With some of our team having spent the summer seasons in Ibiza and Marbella working at the resort’s top venues, we saw the potential in Newcastle to host a luxury all-day party. We have created an irresistible brunch menu with both classic and contemporary dishes, which we can’t wait to spoil our guests with. Boasting the best food, drinks and entertainment in the heart of the city, it is an event not to miss.

“The hospitality scene in Newcastle is one of the best so it’s the perfect place for a brunch club for both our loyal North-East following and visitors from further afield. We’re looking forward to welcoming them all next month to celebrate with us in style.”

From £40 per person, guests can enjoy a range of brunch dishes as well as two glasses of Luc Belaire Brut. General admission to Bonbar is also available from 4pm.
