Agilio Software Medical Director, Dr Gerry Morrow (4)

A leading healthcare technology and clinical content provider, Agilio Software, has announced an extension of its long-running partnership with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to produce Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS) for at least three more years.

Agilio Software has worked as a trusted clinical content provider with NICE for over two decades. Their team of dedicated, expert authors, based in Wallsend, help to create evidence-based guidance for GPs and other healthcare professionals to support them in the diagnosis and treatment of all common conditions in primary care.

This extension enables Agilio to continue authoring this content for the CKS library which is used by over 650,000 clinicians each month. The NICE CKS library contains over 375 clinical topics and 2,000 patient scenarios and is updated every week to ensure that it is accurate and represents the latest published evidence.

This follows a successful 12 months for Agilio, which included the relaunch of its clinical e-learning offering, iLearn, to enhance its existing content library with over 550 courses and 230 hours of additional clinical learning.

Medical Director of Agilio Software, Dr Gerry Morrow, said: “We have always been incredibly proud of our long-standing relationship with NICE and this extension to our partnership for a further three years is a significant vote of confidence in our team.

“We know that clinicians rely on CKS every day to give them the best advice when dealing with patients. We look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality of information so that patients receive the best possible quality of care.”
