Digital business experts Synergi have invested a six figure sum in the launch of the region’s first dedicated Digital Business Den, to help businesses understand more about how the latest cloud-based technology tools can shape the future of their organisations.

The new fully equipped den takes up the whole of the newly refurbished ground floor of Synergi’s head office in Gateshead, and will feature a programme of regular events and workshops including live demonstrations by experts in automation, security, data and artificial intelligence. The aim is to show businesses cloud-based solutions that can streamline operations, boost collaborative working, and improve efficiency and productivity.

Established in 2014, Synergi is an award-winning Microsoft Partner with a UK-wide client base, and its 27-strong team specialises in helping organisations digitise working practices and migrate from traditional IT systems to more flexible and cost-effective cloud-based technologies.

The new space will also be available for Synergi’s clients and partners to use for their own meetings and events.

Justin Short, Synergi’s Chief Technology Officer, believes the North East’s first Digital Business Den will spark a lot of interest among business owners and managers: “Technology is redefining the business landscape, but for many organisations, cloud is still pretty much unfamiliar territory and our mission is to change that.

“While they recognise they are in danger of being left behind while competitors innovate all around them, they quite rightly want to make informed decisions about migrating to systems that will have a big effect on their growth and success.

“Our new specialist suite allows them to step away from the office and talk to experts who can help them identify where they want to improve, and then look at a range of digital automation solutions tailored to their needs.

“We are big believers in ‘show not tell’ and this new dedicated space will allow people to explore the future of digital business, get hands on experience of the latest tools, and the best advice from real experts in the field.”

The Digital Business Den will be launched on October 16, at an event that will feature a series of seminars, presentations and demonstrations throughout the day.

Also on hand for question and answer sessions will be automation, security, data and artificial intelligence experts including senior technical specialists from world leaders including Microsoft, Nintex process management and workflow automation systems, and Valo intranet solutions.

Visitors will also be able to see Microsoft’s new Surface Hub 2S in action, which is an all-in-one digital whiteboard, meetings platform, and collaborative computing device, as well as have the chance to win a Surface Go, the new combined laptop and tablet device from Microsoft.
