Northumbria University’s final year fashion student Victoria Barwood, from Rothbury in Northumberland and educated at Barnard Castle School in County Durham, impressed audiences at Graduate Fashion Week 2015 in London with her BA (Hons) Fashion Design collection.
Inspired by Italian film director Frederico Fellini’s famous films, Victoria incorporated themes of a travelling circus alongside religious symbolism in her collection.
Victoria’s garments attracted the attention of London Live, the capital city’s local tv channel who interviewed her ahead of Northumbria University’s catwalk show at the end of May 2015 which marked the fashion courses 60th anniversary.
