Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors continues to expand its growing Conveyancing department, the Teesside-based firm now ranked as the fastest in the country for transactions in this area.
The team adds the experienced Michelle Collins as a Senior Conveyancing Executive to assist with a growth in client workload over the past 12 months, as well as introducing Larissa Robson.
The team is strengthened further by experienced local conveyancer Diane Spurs, while the law firm – which offers Conveyancing across the UK from offices in Hartlepool, Stockton, Wynyard and Barnard Castle – recently also took on a trio of apprentices to aid the growing team.
A spurt in performance coincided with a focus on making TBI’s Conveyancing service more client-friendly. This was done so by a push to make services more modern and remote, and the rewards have emerged during the summer of 2019 as the firm was ranked top of the national listings for the speed of its transactions in this particular department.
On occasions, further research stated that conveyancers at TBI took six days less on average than its nearest rival to complete property purchases or sales, one of which took ‘a mere 24 hours’ to complete. TBI’s conveyancing process was also clocked at two weeks quicker than the national average when it comes to completions.
Tilly Bailey & Irvine Partner John Ellwood heads the Conveyancing department, and said: “The key to providing client service excellence and appreciation by clients is by team work.
“This is one of the hardest working teams in the region, and it can only grow and get stronger as more work comes our way. The conveyancing turnover has increased fivefold and during this period of project management, client service and expectations/appreciation exceeded competitors.”
Positive reviews have echoed the sentiment, TBI’s online rating climbing closer to the sought-after 5-star rating thanks to a glut of strong reviews over the past 12 months.
“Clients no longer wish to take time out of their busy working lives to come to a solicitor’s office”, adds John. “The days of writing a letter to a client enclosing documentation and inviting an appointment are long since gone. Our pro-active approach extends to client communication who appreciate being kept informed.”
Managing Partner Carolyn Tilly added: “over the past 12 months, the Conveyancing department at Tilly Bailey & Irvine has been a remarkable storyline for the firm.
“It has now grown and grown, and that is all down to the hard work of our motivated staff and a testament to our new systems implemented over the Spring period to ensure we can provide better, client-friendly legal services.”
