RESIDENTS across Stockton-on-Tees are being reminded to have their say in a comprehensive highway and transport survey.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council has joined up with 86 other local authorities nationally to produce the survey which will seek residents’ views on local roads, footpaths and public transport.
In June more than 3000 questionnaires were posted out across the Borough to residents chosen at random by market research specialist, Ipsos MORI.
Residents who receive the questionnaire have until 15 August to complete the survey.
Councillor David Rose, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport, said: “If you received a survey last month we’d really like to hear your views. Completing and returning the survey is really important because it not only helps us plan for the future but it can also influence the amount of investment the Government allocates to Stockton-on-Tees for highways’ improvements and maintenance.”
